About Christopher

Christopher Pecoraro was born and raised in Southern Maine. He exhibited early promise as an artist but chose instead to pursue a life on the stage. From high school, Christopher attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. After graduation he embarked upon a career in the theater and his focus became musical theater. He later found himself performing in a number of leading roles, including Marius in the Broadway National Tour of Les Miserables and Chris in Broadway’s Miss Saigon. He was also seen as Ludovic while understudying Giorgio in Broadway’s Passion.

After settling in Pennsylvania with his wife Yvette (Yvette Om) and two daughters, Christopher rekindled his love of the visual arts and honed his skills as a painter and a photographer. He studied at the New York Institute of Photography and then earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts as a painter. He is also member of an award winning home building team in Delaware County where he continues to customize new houses.

Recently his paintings and photography have focused on a passion for wildlife and nature with excursions into the imagination. Along with being a professional painter, Christopher works as a voice over artist, photographer and continues to sing. In addition to his Broadway album Renaissance, he is featured on several of Yvette Om’s recordings, especially in the song Other Side/Gate Gate Para Gate from her album We Are One.
